I am searching for mugwort in Aurora, Il. Does anyone where I can spot it in the surrounding area?

I think you will find them in a Harry Potter book!

Cmshih, have you tried "The Growing Place" on Montgomery Rd? Their number is 820-8088, I work there but not in that dept. Call them and ask for Linda in water plants. If we don't have it she may know where you can obtain it. The latin name is Limosella aquatica. Hope she is able to help you.

Mugwort is also the common name for Artemisia vulgaris, which is used by herbalists for different purposes. I have read that it is sometimes found along roadsides, although I haven't seen it growing in this fashion myself. I found it for sale on several online nurseries...just google "artemisia vulgaris" and you will see. It appears to be a rampant spreader, like the other members of its genus.
