Questions about Fargo ND area

We are moving to the Fargo North Dakota area in a couple of weeks, I have some perenials I was thinking of bringing along, and am wondering if anyone knows of a website or how to find out if they would be hardy?

Also an gardeners in that area with info on frost dates, what are good plants to cultivate etc--I would appreciate any info. Is Mid October a reasonable time for transplanting perenials?

Plants i was thinking of bringing:
potentilla, lambs ears, day lilly, iris, chives, ladys mantle, coral bells, ivy, pachysandra, hosta, trillium,
forsythia, hydrangea, sedums, phlox, clematis.

Any info would be great email me mlt@jsteng.com
thanks! Mary

RE: Questions about Fargo ND area

Mary,

There haven't been any replies on the board but maybe everyone is e-mailing you. I hope you've gotten some help. Other sources of information would be nurseries in the Fargo area, and the cooperative extension service.

Good luck!
