| I have stored Peacock Orchid (Gladiolus callianthus) babies the size of peas with no problem. Your ornithogalum are hardy to 20ºF...so bring them in before the temps drop to 30ºF. (I always allow mine to stay out until I absolutely have to bring them in...letting them grow a bit more). The Callas are generally hardy to 30ºF, so I would bring them in now. You can cut some small holes in a ziplock and fill it with dry peat moss...this will keep them dry and protected with ventilation and less likely to touch each other. Here is a link I found about storage temps (from the UK)....(both ºC and ºF) You could probably pot them early in the spring indoors for later planting.... I hope that helps... |
