How to overwinter baby tropical bulbs?

I could use advise. Please and thx! I'm pleased with the results of trying tropicals from seed.

I had no idea there were so many as there weren't that many leaves!

Should I store the baby bulbs grown from seed the same way as mature bulbs or is special

care needed?

I have cally lily bulbs - about 80- that grew from seeds. They are the size of a pea- to a

grape.

I have 55 ornithogalum saundersaie bulbs that grew from seed and are the size of a pea up

to the size of a radish.

The mature bulbs do fine bare bulb in the basement over the 7.5 months of winter before

they can be put back outside here, but I'm wondering of these baby bulbs will dessicate if

stored that way that long.

Anyone have experience with this? I don't have a green house- so that is not an option.

Karen
