White Madonna Bougainvilea

Was wondering if anyone here has a bougainvilea vine, whether white madonna or another color, if so how did it do over wintering in the house? Should I cut it back for in the house? Right now it is in a 12 inch patio pot. I read where the roots don't like to be disturb, so I plan on leaving it in that pot.

RE: White Madonna Bougainvilea

Stevi,

I wintered a red Barbara Karst last winter inside [sunny window] It kept blooming for a long time with the blooms getting lighter in color all the time [pink]. Finally leaves started falling off and it got some cottony places on the branches.
I didn't trim the roots or repot in the spring. It took a long while to get good growth again and has still not bloomed this year.
