AND i have a question...i just bought "acer ginnala bailey compact amur maple"...have any of you heard of it??? the tag says it will grow to 7 to 9 ft tall...i have 2 gorgeous amur maple trees that are dwarf; but they are 25 to 20ft. tall.

o.k., so i guess you haven't heard of this amur maple???

i was really excited to find a midwest forum...but i guess it isn't exactly a populated forum....how come??? the midwest is huge....i did post on the great lakes forum, but it doesn't have much traffic either!!!

No, this forum isn't the busiest. I do check it once a weekish. I know of amur maples, don't have one. I have heard 15-25'. Most plants don't actually stop growing, just grow much slower fter a time. Maybe your other two maples are older?
