| Yup...you got a freeze (actual temps can be deceiving)...Chicago's 'feels like' temp is 24ºF. We got a freeze last night with no first frost, too. Are those tropical plants in your yard? |

| I hardly got any snow but I did get a lot of frost damage. Nice pic. |

| That happened to us here in Mi, too. The snow didn't stick where I am though. It looks so funny to see all those Tropical plants covered in snow! How do you get them to survive there over winter? ~ Jennifer |

| Kyle, Your yard looks wonderful,even with the snow. How do you get the red hot poker to flower so late. Mine flowers in June,I'm also in zone 5/6. |

ptmax, Thanks! The red hot poker was planted this year and it was very small up until early fall when it started to bloom. I think next year it will bloom in June also. Kyle |
