Every time I take a trip to Nelson, Wisc/Waubasha,Minn in the fall( late Sept) I see this beautiful silvery-white seed heads of 3-5 feet tall Grass that grows along side of Wisc 35, and parts of Minnesota 61. Is this a "native" Grass?? where can I order some seeds or plugs??

thanks for any input;

RE: Miscanthus - in Badgerland

I have the Miscanthus "Silver Banner" which looks the same as that one, Northern Selections brand i think. I have heard it called native. I have seen that one or similars for sale in mag's. It slowly spreads - give it some room.
