I have a cotton crop! Two plants, 2 fully mature bolls. I took a picture, but don't know how to send it. Guess the weather in the Chicago area is just what cotton likes! At least this year.

Hey, that is pretty neat! I felt like I was back in Arizona all summer here with the dry heat. Cotton is a traditional Arizona ag crop (i.e., Pima cotton). A wild variety is called "coyote cotton." Well, it was dry enough here in Oswego that the cotton bolls didn't get rotten, so you can pick some cotton, to paraphrase that old south song.
