I really enjoyed

your pictures. Makes me think ahead to spring while it's blowing snow all around outside today.

Thanks,
Laura

Nice pics...good to see you get your fix to 'grow' something. I've got my houseplants now to keep me company and worried. I hope we'll make it through the winter.

What part of KC are you in?

I like your web site...that is exactly what I am doing with my winters...a constant work in progress...

Here is my site...in serious need of updating, I am afraid...still need to add my 2005 photos...almost done resizing them, though.

Here is a link that might be useful: My site

pretty puppy!

Kat, what a gorgeous Aussie you have! We wanted to get one so badly but decided that we weren't home enough and didn't have enough room for one to be happy. Instead we got a Cairn terrier. Maybe some day . . .

Anyway, beautiful pictures--plants & critters!

webkat,

I'm in southern Overland Park, just at the edge of the city. It sure looks like you have several acres. Are you near KC?

I have never seen a Blue Tailed Skink in our area, my 4-year-old would flip he if saw one of those! (of course it would end up in the house I'm sure) :-)

Hi Greenthumb!

I am in rural Harrisonville...south and a little east of KC.

We have quite a few skinks....they are very difficult to catch even a glimpse of. They are so fast, usually I just see a little blue flash then it is gone! LOL! That poor little guy was trapped in that box and I would have never been able to photograph one without that happening.

The blue ones are juveniles...they loose their blue as they mature.
