| Does anyone know where I can purchase dwarf Sisyrinchium bellum seeds. I was looking for a variety that doesn't get much taller than 6", such as 'Wayne's Dwarf.'
Thank you! |

| I'm going out on a bit of a botanical limb here, but I wouldn't think that you'd be able to get S. bellum seeds anywhere that could be guaranteed to develop into a particular variety. I'm assuming here that "Wayne's Dwarf" is a cultivar -- and at least as I far understand these things, the only way to get little "Wayne's Dwarf" offspring is to propagate from the original specimen or from one of its clones. If you happen to live in southern California and don't mind buying plants rather than seed, you can get 'Nanum' at Theodore Payne near Burbank. |
