Anyone used wildflower sod?

This is a product which arrives already seeded with a variety of wildflowers.
The one I've come across is from a co. called "Superior Sod".

I'm wondering if it will bloom this year, esp. as it says, "needs cold to germinate".

Appreciate any feed-back.

thanks,
ellen

Nope. Haven't heard of it.

Just for a general rule of thumb, I'd say yes to annuals blooming this year and no to perennials. I'd expect blooms from the second year on the perennials.

Without seeing a list of the seeds in the "sod" I can't say more.
