wildlife friendly groundcover

| I live in southern Michigan and am looking for low-to-the-ground,groundcover that will take over our revine quickly, and be something that will NOT deter our deer population |

| How much sun does the area get? If it is a woodland something like mayapple or running strawberry bush might cover the area relatively quickly. In more sun trailing juniper or bearberry might work. |
