that is true! I have done the same, sometimes I can get by with that, sometimes I have a particular twist that best is answered by a new post. I think of this board as somewhat conversational, and don't try to be redundant, but don't feel prohibited from asking 'bulk' rose questions about a string of new purchases. I don't think you are implying that, just sayin'!! great way to find bulk stuff tho!

HG, Target and believe it or not the JC Penney outlet store are my favorite lamp haunts. For some reason the HG by me seems to get a lot of clearance merchandise (clearanced HG prices) and I've found multiple steals. Just this weekend picked up a pair up ceramic lamps with shades - $9 for both. Some mod-podge & scrapbooking paper & my daughter's playroom is going to have new lamps. :) I've also bought some lamps from Overstock, but the quality of the item was no what I expected when I ordered it. They are ok for their purpose (guest room) but I would have been very disappointed if I had intended them for daily use.

I do not think there is a right way - or a wrong way - this is hobby, this is - praise the Lord! - free country - and we can do it the way we like. For some people - setting the plants on the shelf in an alphabetical order - gives them the sense of satisfaction. And it is great - we are doing it for ourselves, not for the boss or some critic. I would love to keep a better control of my inventory - and know where are the leaves and starters and just repotted babies of each variety. But for me - it is like doing root canals all over again. I can do it but ... I better be potting.
