The on-site diesel generators were supposed to supply power to keep the plant in a safe condition ( keep the coolant flowing), but the tsunami put the auxillary power out of service. Pressure has risen to twice normal and due to lack of power, the plant operators are having difficutly in operating relief valves. The reactors are in danger of meltdown. It will horrribly expensive if this occurs and will impact the Japanese economy for years to come. Their economy has already taken a big hit from the earthquake and tsunami.

My son and his wife live in Tokyo and we recently visited. I am so happy to find a site showing pictures and names of plants I saw there. Thank you. I will visit the site again.

On balance, and not being able to see any leaves or much detail other than the long spurs and double top and triple lower petals, I would still go with Linaria.
