Thanks so much for your help. I am currently converting some of my lawn to a river rock dry creek and some rain garden plants. Found this volunteer near my lavender pot and spent a good hour trying to figure it out. Do you use a special plant ID site or just know the plant well?

Thank you both so much! All the salvageable leaves from the mother plant have produced babies for me but they’re all quite small and I feel like it’s been ages since I got them going. As of now they seem happy, fingers crossed it stays that way. but I honestly wasn’t sure if leaf propagating would even work because I had never seen one of these before, not to mention the mama plant itself, poor thing, was practically melting. I didn’t have much to compare it to initially. Sounds like everyones in agreement on the ID so that’s reassuring! Thanks again!

Yes! Thank you, floral. Oddly, I did not get an alert that you replied. The experts on here are almost always better than Google. It was part of a wildflower mix and I’ve now discovered many various seeds from the mix have taken hold and I am pretty thrilled.
