I am a teacher. Last year, we created a "native" garden, stressing the "native." Not only did we plant native flowers, but the garden had a Native American theme (wigwam, cooking fire, canoe, etc.). A gentleman who runs a local native plants society let me take some plants from his property to get things going. They thrived last year. However, I am not sure if they will come back this year. Here they are:

In case you don't have time to look at the photos, some of the flowers include: meadow rue, wood aster, New England aster, goldenrod, touch me nots, beardtongue and canadian anemone. As you can see, they were all planted in a mulched garden bed..........Will they come back for sure?
