This is in answer to Toni's question about how the leaves of Callisia differ when grown in the sun. Well, to begin with, keep in mind that I am partially color blind, but the leaves look as follows: The leaves have what I call a (maroon?) blush along the edges and down the center of the leaf. The leaves also seem to be somewhat thicker than the ones grown in more shaded areas. They actually look more like a Bromeliad when grown like this. Love them either way!

Hi, I have some streps started and other plants. Some AV leaves, but I just moved everything to a greenhouse so I do not have as much as I used too. I also would love more streps! I think it may be a tad early for me to start trading but we can always set something up and wait till it warms up. We can have freezing night temperatures until may :*(

I've got it growing here just north of the TN line, in KY - no fruits yet, but it's survived 3 or 4 winters - did kill back to the ground its seedling year, but came back just fine. Crushed leaves do smell *kinda* like peanut butter - but it ain't Jif!
