Is this weed or the wild flower?

I sowed wild flower seeds last spring and fall. This particular plant gas grown so quick and big (please see the pix)

Usually, those wild perennials and annuals are not growing this. I suspect it to be a weed. There are 6 or 7 of them. All of them are invaded by beetles. Lots of them. Beetles love them. The insects are only on those plants but no where else. What can you make of this kind of plant? Are they weeds or my wild flowers.

Do you have a picture that is not so close up? One that can show us the habit of the plant.

Looks like an Oenothera species to me. Four O'clocks is a common name.

Thanks so much! This weekend I am headed to a nursery that sells native plants. To plant my hillside next to our waterfall we put in. May have to transplant this one. It really is a good size and has a lot of blooms.

Well I got the first 3 letters right! Thanks bboy. Pitimpinai, the daylight has no bearing on the size of the Hypericum. There are many species and hybrids and this one is quite possibly not the one you are familiar with. This one could be H patulum, perhaps the cultivar 'Hidcote' which is a popular in the British Isles.

It looks really nice!!! despite the bugs but the plants I have are a native bienniel species called Oenothera hookeri. Looks much like yours except it is not so prostrate but grows tall. Leaf texture looks almost identical. Your will know when it flowers: always in 4 parts (4 petals, 4 sepals-it is in the family Onagraceae)
