You're welcome, Janice! Honestly I have no idea if pinching it will affect blooming. When I moved to my house the plume poppy planted by the previous owner had taken over a huge corner of the garden, and was crowding out some plants I really liked, so I pulled it! It never got the chance to bloom. It was simply too big for me. However, I have the feeling nothing you could do to that plant would stop it. It's very vigorous. In fact I think you need to be vigilant to keep it from spreading too much and eating up your garden. It is pretty, though!

No, it's just a pea. Kudzu has more bumpy ridges to its leaves. I can't possibly say more than something innocuous in Fabaceae without more info tho.

You're likely to need a nursery license I suppose.
