Tree ID -- Can someone advise?

This is a 25 foot tall tree in far North Central Texas, on the south side of Lake Texoma (Gordonville). The tree is at the edge of an old woods growing tightly intermixed with cedar elm, oak, and mountain cedar (Texas Cross Timbers?). The leaves interestingly grow in clusters of seven from a central point and are 4 to 6 inches from end of stem to tip. The leaves up higher looked considerably larger.

Many of the cedar elm trees in the woods died in last year's drought. My assumption that is indicative of the fact they are not native to this area -- is that correct? Some we had cut down were 21 inches in diameter. I think they had been they for quite a while. The tree in question was actually behind a group of cedar elm that were shading the tree from southern exposure.

It looks like you will have to follow this link. Included are a distance, branch and leaves view.
