| We are in the process of building a new farmhouse and I would like to landscape using natives. What are good native shrubs and native flowers for a foundation planting? I see several that are great for layering under canopy trees and creating shrub borders, but which ones are best for actually using at the entrance and around the porch, etc.? I am zone 7b in Arkansas. Thanks! |

| Please indicate the sun exposure and any maximum height requirements for the area. I have used native shrubs for my foundation, but it gets no afternoon sun. Do you want a mix of evergreen and deciduous or it doesn't matter? |
