 o
Rhamnus californica- Coffeeberry- size, deer?

I also posted this in the California forum, please excuse the cross post.

Considering Rhamnus californica or Toyon.

If you grow Rhamnus calfornica, how large does it get and do deer bother it?

We live in woodlands with shade/part sun and have deer that browse.

Thanks.
Barbara

According to Munz, Rhamnus california grows from 3 to 12 ft tall. Save the link below for a chart that rates different CA natives for deer tolerance.
