Natives or Weeds? Plant IDs please

I'll post over in Name That Plant too...

I am wanting to allow my woody area to go back to a somewhat natural state after clearing some trees out-a naturalized garden. Instead of me plucking everything in site, I am going to try to ID what is beneficial and what should go. So here we go:

PLANTS THAT I AM LEAVING FOR NOW, IN HOPES THEY ARE SOMETHING:

These have popped up all over my yard-they are somewhat tree like with tight grape like buds--close up of white flowers also below:

Here is a pretty something that is growing somewhat close to the ground--fern like:

PLANTS THAT I ROUTINELY YANK

THese thorny strands look like wild roses or something. no fruit, no flowers (I've ruled out wild wineberry and rasberry)

This is OUT OF CONTROL in my yard--produces very tall spikey flowery things:

The first one looks like Creeping Charlie, definitely a weed. I have it too.

The rose one is very likely multiflora rose, something you definitely don't want. It's not a nicely behaved native or a desired species of any kind. If it is multiflora, you're lucky it hasn't bloomed yet as it spreads like crazy from seeds.

Mia, You're welcome. I used to grow tons of sunflowers right in my garden. They are so beautiful and I love them all. However......they also attract some insects, like stink bugs, that are hard to control and can wreck a garden. Stink bugs and leaf-footed bugs are my worst tomato pests, so I wouldn't grow anything near the tomatoes that would attract them. I no longer grow sunflowers within the fenced garden where I grow tomatoes, but I'll grow them in a different garden plot---like having all the tomatoes in the front garden and the sunflowers in the back garden. One way to use sunflowers is as a trap crop away from the garden to attract the pests that like them away from your actual garden to a different area. That is how I use them now, having learned a few years back that I had a lot less stink bugs in the garden if I grew the sunflowers as far away from it as possible. The second one kind of looks like Prunus serotina or similar relative. The 3rd plant (4th picture) definitely has a piece of False Solomon's Seal in it (there might be something else there too, besides the iris, I mean).

The first one is Ground Ivy, also known by several other names including Creeping Charlie. A non-native weed that is probably all through your lawn, too. The next one appears to be a cherry, perhaps Black Cherry Prunus serotina. The throny shrub is a rose, and probably multiflora rose, which is very common, non-native, and something you should be pulling or else it will quickly become out of control. I think the last picture might be Common Fleabane, or perhaps Daisy Fleabane. Both are quite common here, and I think it is the Common Fleabane that pops up all over the place every spring.
