| Found this on a hike... has droopy lavender flowers on it, not sure if the pods start out large and bulbous, or tight and spiky...

| Hi, What type of area was it growing in,boggy,woody,open field? I haven't seen any of those in this area. I would love some seeds if you collect any LMK, maybe we can trade some seeds. Hettie |

| Looks a bit like Gomphocarpus, in the Asclepiadaceae family. Was this flowering recently? I wouldn't expect this plant to flower until late summer. Gomphocarpus physocarpus |
