 o
steam or hot water to kill garlic mustard?

Anybody ever hear of anyone using some sort of home-made contraption to generate enough steam or hot water to kill invasives? I am battling a lot of first-year garlic mustard rosettes and hoping to avoid widespread Roundup spraying.

I would just pull them.

Boiling water kills everything. I use it as a full-spectrum Roundup alternative on small areas.

I think I've seen devices that use hot water or steam to kill weeds. Never tried it on garlic mustard. The tap root makes it relatively tough for just a little green plant. Let us know if it works.
