| Hello,
I am wondering if anyone knows the name of either of these two wildflowers. They are currently in bloom in the Cascades of Oregon at about the 5000 foot level. Here are the pictures: Wildflower01 and Wildflower02 Thanks, Jon |

| The first looks like Caltha leptosepala, marsh marigold. |

| The second one looks like a Potentilla, maybe P. brevifolia? |

| Second one: if the flowers have 5 petals and the leaves are palmate (like fingers on a hand) and have toothed edges, it is a potentilla. |
