Can't identify

I found this wild flower by our house growing in a mostly shady place. When I first saw it I thought it was a maidenhair fern since the leaves are quite similar but yesterday I found it produced a spray of small, tubular bright yellow flowers. I have a picture of it to send along but don't know how to get it to this forum. the plant is about 5" X 5". We live in the Blue Ridge mountains. Thanks.
