Dwarf Lake Iris

Here's a couple of photo's of a population of Dwarf Lake Iris (Iris lacustris) that we discovered last week near Carney, Michigan. It's both state and federally threatened. These little plants are only about 2 - 3 inches tall:

The location of this population is unusual because it's about 18 miles inland from the shore of Lake Michigan.
