What's this plant... Small, with green stalks and red flowers...

I bought this plant on the side of the road for 3 dollars because it looked pretty, but I haven't a clue what it is... There was only the price and 'water sparingly' on the tag... I've tried looking it up on google, but there is nothing I can find on it... Please help me!

You have two different plants in that pot. The tall one is a sedum. The other one is what we always called "hens and chicks". Not sure if either are native (you posted this in the native plant forum, that's why I mention it).
