garlic mustard control; planting columbine etc.

Just wanted to share my ideas of how to control this. GM is taking over my whole farm. Within 2 years it is everywhere in my fence line, in my apple orchard, in my horse pasture, in my line of pine trees and maples.... EVERYWHERE. There is no way I can even spray it all or pull it out. I'm taking people's suggestion to try to control one area at a time, and I feel like at least I'm making a small dent.

Last year I started planting columbine, virginia blue bells and forgetmenots sporadically throughout one area. And it seems to be working "kinda". The columbine self-seeds so readily that there is already one area that is all baby columbine. I know the bluebells and FMN's spread well also. I do try to shovel away the GM in those areas too. The only drawback to this is that I can't mow in that area. And if I did want to spray with roundup, I have to be very selective in where I spray.

Good luck to all who have this same problem.
