GARDENING GUIDESWhat Your Weeds May Be Trying to Tell You
An invasion of weeds can reveal something about your soil. Here’s what is going on and what to do about it
Full StoryHi,
This is my first post on this forum.
Here is my problem. There is a large area that we want to plant somewhat native wildflowers. Two questions: First, how do I sow the seeds? Can this be done by simply sprinkling seed throughout the area? Second, what should/can I do about the dandilions (sp?) there presently? The area is currently a mix of dandilions and grass. I know the dandi's are "wildflowers" as well, but I do not want them to take over.
Any suggestions for native grasses and wildflowers?
Thanks in advance.
