Can someone identify this plant, please?

I used to know what it is called but can't think of the name now. I was delighted to find it growing in our yard again. But there is a yellow jacket nest in the ground near this (which I discovered yesterday, much to my sorrow) which I need to get rid of. I don't want to kill the plant by using insect spray. In the past, I've had good luck with a heavy application of Sevin dust over the hole. The YJs seem to get in on their bodies and carry it into the hole so I will try that again.

gmom, it's pipsissewa, a delightful name for a sweet little plant, Chimaphylla umbellata. Below is a link for more info.

Yes, they will fruit this year. They are really good value - I grew a few plants last year and have had my own grown dried Chillies all Winter from a few plants. They are way easier than tomatoes. I always grow mine from seed. These aren't Chillies, they're Hungarian Wax peppers from seed. As you can see by the Hoya in the background they are perfectly happy growing in my porch.
