Good morning, while I was picking the dreaded Viburnum Beetles off my shrubs(GRRR) I saw this handsome guy. I think it's a katydid? Should I remove insects like this from my plants? I thought Viburnums were going to be care free in my garden but noooo! Is anyone else finding the viburnum beetles on their viburnums? I have been handpicking and spraying occasionally with insecticidal soap, and I put some tanglefoot on the base of one shrub to see if that works at all. Any other suggestions? Thanks
