Impressed with phlox glaberrima so far

I bought a little pot of phlox glaberrima at a native plant sale in April and it's been in constant bloom since late May. I looked to see if it was forming any seed pods and couldn't find any but did see some more buds on it.
I'm really impressed with how long it's been in bloom (more than 6 weeks so far). The color of mine is just the common garden phlox pinkish purple but I've read their color can vary.
I found a stem broken off of it by some kind of critter a few weeks ago and tried to root it with no luck. I'd like to try again but the plant is still too small to take cuttings.
I don't know how this plant grows, if it will be easy to divide when it gets bigger. Does anyone have experience with it?

I haven't grown it myself but have seen it in prairies in the Midwest growing with meadowsweet and virginia mountain mint. It can flower again in the fall. It's preferred habitat is moist to wet calcareous meadow/prairies although it is occasionally found in drier places. Don't know if it can be divided (would think so after a few years). Some places sell seed.

Just an update. It's still blooming and still has buds, although for the last couple weeks, it's only had two or three flowers at a time. It's still a pretty small plant though especially since the rabbit attack. I'm anxious to see how it does next year and will be really disappointed if it doesn't come back.

It still hasn't produced any seeds unless they're really small and I just can't see them. Has anyone collected seeds from phlox glaberrima?

I wonder if it needs the same species to pollinate it and the lack of seeds may be what's making it stay in bloom for so long. It's been in constant bloom for almost 4 months.
