A good grower it would appear! Will this particular cultivar differ? For example, the large specimen in the picture appears to have inherited more of the characteristics of the Serbian spruce whereas Will's plant looks more typical of the Blue spruce? Richard

Yes, paintguy, it was Big Stretch Caulk! We are going to paint the exterior of our house. It's brick, but the eaves and trim are cedar. I really hate to paint it, but carpenter bees are a problem, and even squirrels have started gnawing on the cedar. We need to fill the holes the carpenter bees have left, and I think the Big Stretch Caulk might be a good solution. Thank you so much!

I don't know what to expect either Karyn, but I'm weird and check them about 3 - 4 times a day, turn them towards the sun, mist them occassionally, haven't started talking to them yet but I think I'm getting there. I'm starting to think I should get a stroller and take them for a walk??? lol WOW, 10" in three months seems like a lot, hope mine do that. Do you have to water everyday? Mine are in direct desert full sun and seem to really like it, but I have to give them a little drink everyday. I also cheated I put a 'pinch' of steer manure on top of each little pot (as everyone cringes...) I didn't know any better at the time, but it hasn't seemed to hurt them. I swear I can actually sit there and watch "Monster" grow, his leaves are huge! Happy Saturday, Jerri

Good for you Dean. You do it like it ought to be done. One of the reasons we got there so late was that I thought it would be open until 4 which to me is a more reasonable time to close then 3. When I found out that 3 PM was the official closing I thought we still had time to see more then the 3 I posted, but things were moving along at a brisk pace, and trying to see what was for sale along with all the exhibition daylilies in a short amount of time was next to impossible....... I've heard the OKC society is a good one, and if you are a member I can see why.........Maryl
