| I have a few echi. plants-1 a couple years old, and a couple planted earlier this year (from plants, not seeds). The base of the plants seem to look healthy, but the petals keep falling off? We've had a few heavy downpours, is it too much water thats causing this?
Any ideas would help! thanks!! |

| Petals don't stay on forever. Flowers are transitory things. I think that briefness only adds to their beauty. Echinacea hold their blooms longer than many flowers, but what kind of time frame are we talking here for your flowers lasting? FataMorgana |

| If you cut those "finished" flowers off, your plants might make make more flowers. |
