| Found this very small flower growing near the road. Height of flower stem (flowers along stem, no leaves to speak of) is about 6-8 inches. Flower is about an 1/8 inch across - very small. Plant leaves are at the base of the plant (approx. as rosette). Color is a bit off in this photo. More of a blue to blue-purple. Area is dry, very sandy. Bloom was early to mid-July. Cute little thing. |
