| I have a couple of plants of Devil's Walking Sticks. They have been doing well for a couple of years but this summer they haven't grown any foliage. They're about 6 feet tall and usually do well, does this plant have a dormant period? I live in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
cheers

| This plant should leaf out every year. In fact I don't know of any deciduous plant of eastern North America that would have a dormant period lasting all or most of summer. There are some that leaf out really late, and a few that start to drop leaves really early, but none that should stay leafless all summer. Around here Devil's Walking Stick is in full leaf and has been for months. I don't have any guess what might have happened. |
