I am planting a couple of Fremenotia on a well drained slope, in our mixed woodland. I understand that to much water will be disasterous and I should only "water until established" How much and how long is that?? I really want these to succeed.

I would water weekly until May, pausing if winter rains occur. After that, I would water thoroughly perhaps once per month through next summer until about November of next year.

ladyslppr gives excellent advice. I'd also suggest that you protect them from deer if they ever frequent your slope--I've found that they're rather fond of the new foliage.
