| There are a lot of Hazelnuts growing around where I live, and I've eaten them raw several times but I want to try roasting them.. I've seen plenty of ways to roast them without the shells but I can't find anything about roasting them IN the shells. And what about smoking them? Is there a good way to do that or will they just catch fire? Maybe I could use the shells to smoke something else?? I dunno! Does anyone have experience with this? |

| I've seen plenty of ways to roast them without the shells but I can't find anything about roasting them IN the shells. I'd like to know too...seems 'Dr Google' only lists links about roasting them without the shell. I wonder if someone from The Harvest or TheCooking Forum might know. Sue |
