Help ID this plant

No luck ID'ing this. About 3 feet tall single stem then branches out for flowers. shorter specimens nearby. May be blooming out of season(early) due to crazy weather.

Old field -acid soil - not mowed this year. Carroll County, TN.

I thought someone id'ed this on the Name that Plant forum as Euphorbia marginata.
