The A/C is almost always running! My plants don’t seem to mind too much haha. I have 2 grow light bulbs, but may have to invest in a gro light stand or two as the weather gets cooler. Right now the tropicals are sitting on a coffee table facing a window with bright sunlight and they are mostly doing well.

As floral_uk requested, I have just added a picture of leaves to find out if we are dealing with Honeysuckle or Burning Bush ? We pruned these shrubs only lightly in early spring, not knowing what most of them were and what size they would grow into in one season, and beyond. We now realize that they should have been pruned way more... Re floral_uk's question if the bush with variegated leaves might be Weigela or Dogwood, I also added a close up. The leaves are opposite each other, and rather thin (and more delicate than the leaves on our wine and roses weigelia). As I inspected them, to my horror I noticed a spittle like white foamy substance on almost all leaf stems, and many leaves show damage! When googling this I came up with spittlebug...I have neem oil and insecticidal soap here, will this work ??? And OMG, I was not familiar with and did't know how nasty bishops weed can be, although after having dealt with it for only a few months I have no love left for it. Its gotta go ! It is presently in bloom, will deal with the blooms first thing tomorrow A.M., and then the rest of the plant. .

What makes you doubt Pecan? If there are lots, you could dig a young one up and see what kind of nut is on the bottom.
