Wildflower ID help

I identified this flower (or weed) as "Lady's Fingers" or "Lady Finger" to a poster on another forum. She said that was okra. So I tried to Google the name Lady's Finger - Ohio wildflower - and came up with nothing. It doesn't really look like knotweed does it? The poster doesn't seem to think so either.
I went out and snipped a piece from a corner of my garden and scanned it. I've always liked this little flower since childhood, altho I know it can become a nuisance. Never has so far on my property. In fact it's rather rare to find along the roads or in ditches anymore. It usually grows a bit taller and the blooms are more elongated but I think mine was mowed once.
