| SW Wisconsin woodland plant. two parallel veined yellowing leaves with longish petioles lying on ground. old 5 inch bloom stalks on some. Not a showy orchis, dogtooth violet. I thought at first wild leek (allium tricoccum) but I read that the leaves disappear before flowering. Any ideas? |

| Do you have a picture? Pictures help so much more than verbal descriptions. And yes, wild leek or ramps would have lost their leaves months ago. They wouldn't have even made it to the start of summer. FataMorgana |
