| What do I need to do, if anything, to prepare my stand of milkweed for the coming winter? Most of the plants have been reduced to stems by monarch caterpillars. I do collect seeds from the pods. |

| You needn't do anything, however you can cut them down to the ground if you find the stems unsightly, or you can wait til spring to do that. |
