Where to buy compost on Long Island?

I'm trying to find a reliable place to purchase about 4 yards of compost for a vegetable garden. I live in the Town if Oyster Bay and I know they have free compost, but I've heard nothing good about the free stuff. I also need it delivered. Does anyone know of any places?

I called a place out east and asked the guy I spoke with said they don't have compost by the yard. He also told me I shouldn't use bulk compost this year because of what could be in it due to hurricane Sandy. Instead he said I should buy it by the bag this season. Anyone know anything about this?
