What tree to plane near a driveway

Hello all,

I have a patch of land near my driveway that is 14' x 5' and I would like to plant a tree to shade my lawn. I was wondering if anyone could recommend a tree that has deep roots, high branches and is a good shade tree that does not drop sap. The area is very sunny and needs some additional shade. I live in USDA zone 7.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I really like Redbud trees. Not too tall and beautiful flowers. I planted one in my front yard.
