Periwinkle or Myrtle Groundcover

I live on the Southern Coast of Maine, about a half mile from the ocean, Zone 5. I have an area that gets full sun for much of the day and would like to plant Periwinkle. Would this be a good choice?

yes. My perennial vinca took two years to get established, but it's beautiful.

I notice that you are in zone 7; I am in zone 5. If your's can handle full sun mine should be able to tolerate it. IS it in FULL SUN?

I just planted 2 periwinkle plants around a lamp post in my front yard - I'm hoping it takes off quick - it's SOOOO pretty.
