Heliotrope Troubles

Posted by moxiecola 6 (My Page) on

This year I spied some Heliotrope plants at the local nursery. I have never planted these before and decided to try them out in my window boxes. They have been in the boxes now for over a month and don't seem to be doing very well. The boxes are on my deck in full sun. It does get very hot there. The leaves are getting yellow and crispy on the ends. Once the blooms faded I sniped them off, I see no new buds. Should I move these plants to my garden where there is late afternoon shade?
