These are one of my favs. I'm wondering what to do with it after the flower has gone and there is a beautiful pod on the stalk. Do I cut it down or let the pod dry. If it is full of seeds, can I use them for new plantings? Thanks for any help

Cut the stalk with the pod on it. Hang in a bunch, upside down, in a dry dark place, such as a garage. It takes a few weeks to dry. The mother plant will start to look dry and ratty as it dies back in the summer... don't worry. You didn't kill it.

If you want to save the seeds, wait for the pods to open at the top, cut them off leaving a stem, put them in a vase without water for a couple of days. Then, dump the seeds into a shallow flat pan and allow the to dry real good. Then store them in seed envelopes. Leasa
